Welcome to The Birthday Bash Project. Our mission is to ensure every child ages 1-12 in the Fargo-Moorhead community feels celebrated on their birthday - regardless of their circumstances.

How it Works

Referral Partners

We work directly with trusted partners in the community, such as CAPLP, Jeremiah Program, SENDCAA, YWCA, Fargo Housing, Down Home, and more. This ensures that our services go directly to children from families facing the greatest challenges.

Building a Box

Staff and volunteers at The Birthday Bash Project curate a birthday party in a box for children referred to us. Boxes are built for a child and 5 birthday party guests. Each box includes themed party supplies, party favors and bags, a sweet treat, and a birthday gift for the birthday child.

Delivering the Box

The Birthday Bash Project will be in contact with the referral partners on when they can pick up the box. The referral partner will deliver the box to the caregiver, and the caregiver gets to sign the blank card and set up the party. The caregiver will be the hero!
